Hybrid Working in Cirrus Calm
Hybrid working lets you plan where employees work.
This could be:
- Home
- Office
- Remote locations
It helps you see at a glance who is where and plan work accordingly.
NOTE: Cirrus staff will need to define these working locations for you. You can choose any custom name and any custom icon from the image below.

Why hybrid working matters
Not all work can be done everywhere.
Some skills may require:
- Office presence
- Specific equipment
- Team collaboration
Hybrid working helps you:
- Plan office coverage
- Control where certain work happens
- Avoid assigning the wrong work in the wrong place
How hybrid working works
Each employee can have a work location set per day.
By default, you will see:
- Home
- Office
These appear in the schedule next to the employee's name.
This gives you instant visibility when planning.
Set work location in the schedule
Work location is set directly in the schedule.

Follow these steps:
- Go to Schedule
- Find the employee
- Click the work location icon next to their name
- Select:
- Home
- Office
- Other options if configured
- Click Save
This is the fastest way to update where someone is working.
Control work locations via skills
Some work should only happen in certain locations.

You control this in the skill settings.
- Go to Skills
- Open or create a skill
- Set Allowed work locations
- Save
Example:
- Calls → Home and Office
- Front Desk → Office only
This helps prevent incorrect scheduling.
