Sometimes one change is not enough.
Bulk changes let you update multiple employees, days, or time blocks in one go.
Use this to save time and keep your schedule consistent.
When to use bulk changes
Use bulk changes when:
- Multiple people need the same update
- A shift pattern needs adjusting
- You need to fix a gap across a team
- A temporary change affects several employees
If you are repeating the same action more than twice, use bulk changes.
How bulk changes work
Bulk changes apply one action across a selected group.
You choose:
- Days
- Time range
- Skill
- Employees
The system then applies the change in one step.
Apply a bulk change

Follow these steps:
- Go to Schedule
- Click Actions
- Select ‘Generate changes’
- Choose:
- Days to apply the change
- Time range
- Skill to assign
- Employees affected
- Confirm the change
The update is applied instantly.
What bulk changes can do
You can use bulk changes to:
- Add a shift across multiple employees
- Replace an existing skill
- Fill gaps quickly
- Apply temporary coverage
It is one of the fastest ways to fix your schedule.
Important to know
- Bulk changes overwrite existing shifts in the selected time
- Changes apply immediately
- They do not update the shift template
