To improve security, organisations can now issue one-time-use authentication tickets, allowing specific users access to the system while bypassing standard authentication methods. These tickets can be enforced at the Privacy and Security module or through API calls by adding the appropriate parameters.
OTP Verification for Editing Agent Permissions
To strengthen security, admins must now complete a one-time password (OTP) verification process when editing sensitive information or deleting agents on the Agents page. This added layer of protection prevents unintended or unauthorised modifications.
Note: Editing rights for sensitive information are only granted to verified admins and agents with the required permissions. The verification process must be completed on the Agents page.
Zendesk Enhanced Connection Validation
Zendesk is now the final Cirrus Digital integration to feature connection validation. During configuration, the system will notify admins if incorrect details are detected, ensuring a more secure and efficient setup process.
New Condition Added to Rules
A new condition has been introduced in Rules, allowing actions to be triggered based on whether a conversation has received an initial response from an agent. This condition applies to the 'Unresponsive Agent,' 'Unresponsive Customer,' and 'Tag is Added' triggers, enabling organisations to refine their conversation management strategies.
